FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
all your common queries in one place
HOW LONG WILL MY FRAMED PIECE LAST?
If you are kind to your piece, our framed flowers should last for decades to come! However, some browning of the flowers can still be expected over time. To help prevent this we recommend placing your piece out of direct sunlight.
CAN YOU PRESS EVERY FLOWER IN MY BOUQUET?
WHAT ARE THE RATES FOR A CUSTOM PIECE?
If you already have the flowers you want pressed, the rates depend on the frame size. Current rates are below:
Please note, rates do not include pick up/delivery charges, shipping or credit card processing fees.
If we need to order flowers for your piece, we will provide you with a personalized quote.
HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING A CUSTOM MADE PIECE?
We have limited space available in our presses so please reach out via email at least a month before your event to make sure we will have presses open for your flowers! Pieces take up to three months to complete after we get your flowers so if you are ordering for a birthday or holiday, please keep that in mind. Once we verify we can take on the order, we will discuss the flowers, size(s) and frame(s) that you would like to use and provide you with a quote. From there, we send three mock ups for you to select your design.
Flowers are an organic medium and so we cannot guarantee a perfect outcome for all flowers or greenery. We do know that bulkier flowers such as roses, proteas and lilies will not press well or fit in our frames so with these we will press individual petals. White flowers will brown the most so we prefer to not work with all white bouquets. Depending on the condition in which we receive the flowers, we will press all that we can and use the best pieces in your frame.
CAN YOU STILL CREATE A PIECE FOR ME IF I'M NOT LOCAL?
Absolutely! If you are having your wedding or event flowers pressed but don't live in the Bay Area, we will send you detailed instructions on how to pack and mail them to us. If you don't have flowers you are sending, we will chat beforehand to determine what you would like used in your piece and will get them ordered just for you from our wonderful local suppliers.
